The Spanish Basketball Federation announced initial round of cuts from their preliminary roster. Miguel Salvo, Jonathan Barreiro, Alberto Diaz and Hector Alderte will not be moving forward as the team trimmed its roster down to 18 in front of the opening of home-and-home friendly matchups that began Tuesday , with trip to Athens, Greece. Ahead of their friendly matchup against Spain on Tuesday, the Hellenic Basketball Federation announced the opening round of cuts from their training camp. Coach Dmitirs Itoudis let go Lefteris Mantzoukas, Omiros Netzipoglou, Girogos Tanoulis, Giogos Tsalmpouris.
