Jackson State QB Jared Lockhart Leads FCS in Passing Efficiency at 206.8

Jackson State quarterback Jared Lockhart is putting together an impressive sophomore campaign, and the numbers now have him sitting atop the FCS in passing efficiency. Through three games, Lockhart owns a 206.82 passing efficiency rating, according to Jackson State’s official statistics. He has completed 55 of 81 passes (67.9%) for 986 yards and nine touchdowns without throwing an interception. That’s good for an average of 328.7 passing yards per game and 12.2 yards per attempt. HOUSTON — Southern University endured a long night at TDECU Stadium on Saturday, falling to No. 22 Houston 77-6 as the Cougars dominated from the opening quarter through the final whistle.
