Tennessee State announces spring football practice schedule and Spring Game date

Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics NASHVILLE – Set to begin spring practice this week, the Tennessee State football team and head coach Eddie George have announced that the spring game will be played at 3:30 p.m. on April 15 at Hale Stadium. This will be coach George’s second spring with the Tigers, as he enters his third year as the head coach. Tennessee State’s Mosley named to FCS Punter of the Year Watch List

Tennessee State senior Kaleb Mosley was named to the 2022 FCS Punter of the Year Preseason Watch List, honoring the nation’s top FCS punter, put forth by The Augusta Sports Council. Mosley, a senior punter out of Carver HS in Montgomery , Alabama , paced the OVC last season, averaging 41.7 yards per punt. Twenty-five percent, or 15, of his 62 punts were downed inside the 20-yard-line, with another 16%, 10 out 62, being 50-plus yard kicks, with his longest traveling 61 yards.
