Tennessee State’s Terrell Allen named Big South-OVC Defensive Player of the Year

For his exploits on the gridiron this season, Tennessee State defensive lineman was named Big South-OVC Defensive Player of the Year. Allen led FCS in sacks with 14.5 (1.32 per game) and 28.0 tackles for loss (2.5 per game). The senior also ranked second in FCS in forced fumbles with 5 ( 0.45 per game). Chase Adams’ jumper in the waning seconds propelled Jackson State to stun Missouri 73-72.
