Norfolk State’s Jacquez Jones named HBCU FCS National Player of the Week from Stats Perform

title image via Nick Sutton Norfolk State wide receiver Jacquez Jones was named the HBCU FCS National Player of the Week from Stats Perform.  In the Spartans’ convincing 32-10 victory over VMI, the graduate wideout hauled in 12 passes for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns. His 12 receptions was the second most proficient pass-catching performance in FCS this season.  Up next for Jones and the Spartans is a trip to Indianapolis, IN for a faceoff with North Carolina Central in the Circle City Classic.

Alabama A&M v FAMU rescheduled due to Hurricane Helene
