The Tennessee State Tigers were able claim victory in the 34th Southern Heritage Classic with a 24-14 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff and Green played a major role in the games’ outcome. Saturday Grambling was taken to the woodshed 72-10 by LSU, however the outcome was not the most concerining aspect of the evening for the Tigers. Gramblng State linebacker Jaquavis Richmond suffered a frightening injury halfway through the third quarter while making a tackle on LSU wideout Gregory Clayton on a punt return.
