Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Young Man Killed Over Kicks

Darrius Flournoy has become the latest unnecessary casualty of sneaker related violence. The 22-year old was shot by an acquaintance, 20-year-old Ja’Corrie Rogers, over a dispute surrounding shoes the two swapped. Police alleged that at approximately 6:45 p.m., Rogers pulled out a handgun and shot Flournoy multiple times. Neighbors said that at least five shots were heard. First responders attempted to insert a breathing tube and stop the bleeding from the multiple gunshot wounds Flournoy suffered. Say what you will about San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick, one thing you cannot say is that he does not put his money where his mouth is. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cleveland Cavaliers are closing in on a deal for current Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver.  Sources: Atlanta and Cleveland are finalizing terms on Korver deal, with Mike Dunleavy Jr., likely moving onto a third team through Atlanta. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) January 6, 2017 Korver, a career 43% three point shooter, will give the Cavs another shooter in the wake of J.R. Lebron breaks out “Hardwood Classics” PE of the Lebron 14

After the long awaited unveiling of his latest signature, the Lebron 14,  Lebron James broke out the “Hardwood Classics” PE tonight versus the Bulls of Chicago. The striking colorway features an orange upper with blue accenting on the swoosh strap, laces and collar. The midsole sports an orange to blue and back to orange gradation and a translucent outsole rounds out the look of this shoe. There is no word on a retail release but keep it locked in here for any release news on this shoe.

Dubbed the “Black Ice”, this sneaker features an all-black upper with the white outlined Swoosh on the midfoot strap breaks up the monochromatic look. Stephen Curry raises $45,157 for Oakland fire victims

The December 2nd fire in Oakland at the Ghost Ship warehouse that tragically ended the lives of 36 people was indeed an unfortunate event. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has decided to pitch in to help the victims of this adverse situation. Thousands of Pair of Counterfeit Sneakers discovered by South African Customs

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) seized counterfeit sneakers at the Lebombo Border Post.  Suspicions were aroused when a truck driver refused to stop at the port checkpoint on Monday. Police then chased the truck; the driver fled the scene outside the port area.
