To kick off 2022 SIAC Media Day the conference announced preseason football honors and Albany State quarterback Dionte Bonneau was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year. Golden Rams add Charlie Skalaski IV to coaching staff

From Albany State Athletics Charlie Skalaski (Skuh-LA-Skee) IV enters his first season at Albany State after being hired to serve as the Passing Game Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Skalaski joins the Golden Rams with fourteen seasons of coaching experience, including four at the high school level, and ten years at the college level. Albany State softball gets dominating wins over Allen University

Albany State softball extended their win streak to 13 after a dominating sweep of Allen University, winning the games by a combined 23-0 ( 12-0 in Game 1 and 11-0 in Game 2). Albany State baseball got off to a smashing good start in their three-game series with the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, handing out a pair of beatdowns to the tune of 10-3 and 20-8, respectively. Albany State begins three-game tilt with Golden Tigers today

This weekend the Albany State baseball team ,12-7 (11-3 in the SIAC), will commence a three-game series on Montgomery, Alabama against the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, 10-8 (8-3 in the SIAC). This will be the first time the two teams have played in nearly six years, April 27, 2016 to be exact. Tuskegee was victorious, winning 7-5.
