JCSU’ Darius Ocean named BOXTOROW HBCU National Player of the Week

Johnson C. Smith quarterback Darius Ocean was named HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW. In the Golden Bulls’ 21-14 defeat of Shaw, Ocean completed 24-of-32 passes for 265 yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions. In the Golden Rams’ 48-7 anhilation of conference for Miles College, the graduate signal caller completed 15 of his 29 pass attempts for 3 touchdowns , while also added another 89 yards and 1 touchdown on 11 carries.
