The Albany State University women’s hoops team was handed a 72-53 loss at the hands of Allen University. After Albany State scored the first basket of the game via a Tachanda Castling layup, the Yellow Jackets wasted no time , taking the lead 0:21 seconds later on a three pointer from Catrina Nolen. Couretsy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics The Albany State Golden Rams lost (66-56) to the Morehouse Maroon Tigers on Saturday afternoon at the Forbes Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.  It was the Maroon Tigers second time defeating the Golden Rams this week. With the loss, the Golden Rams are now (6-15) overall and (6-9) in the SIAC while the Maroon Tigers improved to (10-8) overall and (7-6) in the SIAC.  Malik Parker was the lone Golden Ram in double figures.  Parker finished with 19 points in 28 minutes of action for Albany…
