Albany State baseball takes first two against Benedict

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown Albany State Athletics The Golden Rams won their 5th road game of the season when they swept the Tigers in a double header on Saturday to begin a 3-game series against Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics The Golden Rams tennis team defeated Point University (7-0) this afternoon at the ASU West Campus Tennis Complex.  The Golden Rams improved to (13-4) overall while the Skyhawks fell to (1-8) overall. In doubles play, Natalya Ogunwale and Asia Raulerson won their match (6-1).  Allyah Williams Sumana Panauganti defeated their opponents (7-5).  Bianca Leao and Carla Sorroche won their match by default. In singles, Natalya Ogunwale won her match (6-1 & 6-3).  Bianca Leao  won (6-1 & 6-1).  Carla Sorroche won her match (6-1 & 6-1).  Allyah Williams and Sumana Panauganti won their respective matches by default.

Albany State Tennis takes on Point University

The Albany State Golden Rams tennis team will host Point University at 1:00 pm at the ASU West Campus Tennis Complex on Friday, March 24. The Golden Rams are (12-4) overall and (9-2) in the SIAC.  The Skyhawks are (1-7) overall and (1-5) in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The Golden Rams and Skyhawks last played on February 11, 2023.  On that day, the Golden Rams defeated the Skyhawks (7-0).

Albany State Track performed well at Emory Spring Break Classic
