Tennessee State’s Terrell Allen named Big South-OVC Defensive Player of the Week

Tennessee State defensive lineman Terrell Allen was named Big South-OVC Defensive Player of the Week for his gridiron exploits this past weekend. In the Tigers’ Homecoming win against the Spartans of Norfolk State, Allen recorded seven tackles ( 6 solo), 4 tackles for loss, as well as a pass breakup. Allen also recorded a pair of sacks, which was his first multi-sack game of the season. Tennessee State head coach Eddie George has led the Tigers to a 4-2 record after their 24-17 Homecoming win over Norfolk State on Saturday. The NBA announced it handed down a $25,000 fine to Houston Rockets forward due to Brooks, extra-ciricular on court antics. With less than seven and a half minutes left in the first quarter of the Rockets’ October 10 preseason game against the Indiana Pacers, Brooks whacked Pacers’ forward Daniel Theis in the nether region.
