Police in Arlington, Virginia are on the lookout for two suspects in a sneaker sale gone awry. According to police, on August 21 at approximately p.m., two persons met in the block of 22nd Street South to conduct a prearranged sneaker sale. The suspect took the victim down a residential hallway, where another suspect was lying in wait. Fake Jordans and Nikes amongst thousands of counterfeit items seized at Port of Long Beach

Last month, over 39,000 counterfeit items-which included fake Air Jordans , Nikes, Yeezys and Chanel purses – were seized from shipments at the Los Angeles/Long Beach Seaport. On August 26, United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that the items came from two separate seizures-from shipments on July 19 and July 30.
