Albany State sweeps Tuskegee

Courtesy Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State University Athletics The Golden Rams improved to 15-7 (14-3 in the SIAC) after sweeping the Tuskegee University Tigers.  The Tigers are now 10-11 (8-6 in the SIAC).    The Golden Rams defeated the Tigers 20-12 in the final game of the series.  Lavoisier Fisher, Lachlan Rossand Nathan Lloyd were the players of the game.  Fisher went 3-3 at the plate for the Golden Rams.  Fisher scored 3 runs and had 1 RBI.  Ross went 1-3 at the plate.  Ross hit a home run, scored 2 runs and had 6 RBIs. …

Albany State spanks Tuskegee in first two games of series

Albany State baseball got off to a smashing good start in their three-game series with the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, handing out a pair of beatdowns to the tune of 10-3 and 20-8, respectively. Albany State begins three-game tilt with Golden Tigers today

This weekend the Albany State baseball team ,12-7 (11-3 in the SIAC), will commence a three-game series on Montgomery, Alabama against the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, 10-8 (8-3 in the SIAC). This will be the first time the two teams have played in nearly six years, April 27, 2016 to be exact. Tuskegee was victorious, winning 7-5. Malik Bell is leading the Golden Rams with a .455 batting average. Albany State baseball home opener this weekend

This weekend the Albany State baseball team (1-3) will play their home opener this Saturday with a series with the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen (1-1). The games will commence with a Friday evening game against LeMoyne, with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 pm. Saturday the series will conclude with a doubleheader with a first pitch scheduled for 12:00 noon EST at the ASU West Campus.
