Comeback bid falls short against Tennessee Tech

Monday night’s overwhelming assault from the Golden Eagles’ three-point barrage proved to be too much for Tennessee State. Tennessee Tech connected on 15 of 24 from downtown, answering many TSU runs with demoralising threes, and pulled the 90-85 upset over the Tigers.  The Tigers’ offense was off-kilter in the first half. Bowie State basketball schedule change (again)

The Thursday basketball doubleheader between Bowie and Bluefield State has been postponed due to weather and safety concerns posed by Winter Storm Fern.  This was the second postponement of the doubleheader, as the January 28 date was a rescheduled version of the original.  A rescheduled date has not been determined and will be announced at a later date.
