Tennessee State’s Draylen Ellis named BOXTOROW HBCU Player of the Week

Tennessee State quarterback Draylen Ellis was named BOXTOROW HBCU Player of the Week. In the Tigers’ 41-28 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff in the35rg Southern Heritage Classic. Ellis completed 20 of 33 passes for 226 yards along with 3 touchdowns. Ellis’ performance garnered him the Southern Heritage Classic MVP. On the season, the reigning Big South-OVC Co-Offensive Player of the Week has completed 58 of 91 passes for 712 yards, 6 touchdowns and just a single interception.

Frederick Douglass HBCU Football Classic : Preview and Predicton

This Saturday the Marauders of Central State University will take on the Golden Rams of Albany State University in the inaugural Frederick Douglass HBCU Football Classic in Rochester, New York. The last meeting between the schools took place October 7, 2023, with the Golden Rams laying a 48-0 donkey kicking on the Marauders.  Central State Central State lost a hard tough, largely defensive matchup, 17-10, to Morehead State. An initial look at the Under Armour Curry Fox 1

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox was the first signing to Stephen Curry’ Under Armour sub-brand. Initial images of Fox’s rookie sneaker, the Fox 1 have come to light. The black-based colorway sports a leather and mesh upper. A Fox logo is perched atop the tongue surrounded by a purple fur collar; the same logo is also found on the insoles. Sabrina Ionescu introduced the world to another player’s exclusive edition of her very popular Sabrina 2 silhouette.  They sport a vibrant green mesh upper accompanied by that of grey at the toe, eye rows, and at the rear heel. Courtesy of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Howard quarterback Jaylon Tolbert was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola. Fellow Bison Noah Miles earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, while Howard tightend Ke’Untae Mosley was named Rookie of the Week. Delaware State Antonio Williams received Offensive Lineman of the Week accolades, and South Carolina State’s Dyson Roberts was named Specialist of the Week. This sample iteration of the Adidas AE 1 Low sports a winter blue upper spread across its textile and synthetic upper. Adidas Three Stripes branding is seen on the rear heel,along with “AE” in script appears on the back of the front pull tab.  Underneath this largely monochromatic upper resides a Boost midsole augmented with Lightstrike cushioning. In a recent training session, Jimmy Butler was spotted in a new colorway of his Li-Ning JB3 sneaker. They sport a yellow and black Boom Fiber upper with a large white Li-Ning logo on the lateral side.
