The 19-year old Jacksonville, Florida teen was accused of robbing a Facebook sneaker seller at gunpoint of a pair of Air Jordans. According to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and reported by WJXT-TV, the robbery victim posted an ad on a Facebook page where sneakers are bought and sold. Thousands of Pair of Counterfeit Sneakers discovered by South African Customs

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) seized counterfeit sneakers at the Lebombo Border Post.  Suspicions were aroused when a truck driver refused to stop at the port checkpoint on Monday. Police then chased the truck; the driver fled the scene outside the port area. Adidas and Parley to make shoes from recycled plastic

                  For over a year, Adidas has been hinting at a release of a shoe composed nearly entirely of plastic trash that was removed from the seas. In June of 2015, an initial prototype, which was created in a joint effort with the environmental organization Parley for the Oceans, was unveiled. Kristaps Porzingis Reportedly Agrees to Multiyear Deal with Adidas

As reported by Nick Depaula of The Vertical,  Adidas has added Kristaps Porzingis to its roster of players. The Knicks’ power forward indicated that he received offers from several sneaker companies , but ultimately whitled it down to the Swoosh and the Three Stripes. 1996 Olympic Champion Bruny Surin sues Puma

Bruny Sarin, A former sprinter and member of the Canadian 4 x 100 m relay that won gold at the 1996 Summer Olympics,is suing Puma. Sketchers facing lawsuit…..Again

Sketchers is in familiar territory and by that meaning they are getting sued by someone, and it is a familiar foe: Adidas.  The Three Stipes levied a lawsuit against Sketchers in Sepetmber of 2015 for it’s “unlawful behavior” over mimicked designs of the their Stan Smith sneaker with their Onix shoe, which is a carbon copy of the Smith.
