Cleveland, which is in the midst of hosting NBA All-Star weekend also was the setting for the inaugural HBCU Classic, which featured a matchup between MEAC schools Howard and Morgan State aired on NBA TV. From Tennessee State University Athletics Tennessee State University football second-year head coach Eddie George has officially released the 2022 football schedule as his Tigers will play five home games, the first under George’s leadership. From the CIAA The 2022 National Football League (NFL) Scouting Combine is currently taking place (March 1-7) in Indinapolis, IN. The annual event features hundreds of the top NFL prospects from the collegiate ranks conducting workouts and interviews with all 32 teams. Albany State Athletic Department has NCAA probation lifted

Tuesday morning Albany State University announced that the NCAA had removed the school’s athletic probation from probation status. As reported by WALB, back in 2016 Albany State began an internal audit of its athletic program. Following that the University self-reported potential issues to the geniuses at the NCAA. The 11-game slate features five home games at William “Dick” Price Stadium, including the return of the Battle of the Bay to Norfolk in addition to three home conference games.
