Tennessee State offensive lineman Robert Lacey has accepted an invitation to participated in the 2023 HBCU Legacy Bowl. Lacey earned 2022 Preseason All-OVC honours and made the 2023 Senior Bowl Watchlist , as he helped open up holes for a TSU offense that featured two backs in Jalen Rouse and Devon Starling that each ran for over 500 yards and averaged at least 4.7 yards per carry. Tennessee State wide receiver JJ Holloman has accepted an invitation to take part in this year’s HBCU Legacy Bowl, according to a tweet from the game Friday afternoon. The Covington, Georgia native caught 33 passes for 353 yards and 1 touchdown in his lone season at Tennessee State.
