Albany State loses to Alabama State in exhibition matchup

Albany State Softball opens season tomorrow

2023 Albany State Softball season preview

Courtesy of Albany State Athletics In 2022, Albany State Softball had a tremendous season as they finished with a (35-9) overall record as well as the SIAC Eastern Division Champions.   According to the Black Sports Network, the Golden Rams finished with the most wins of any HBCU on any level in the country. The Golden Rams feature several players that received accolades from the 2022 season.  Madison Hurt finished as the number #7 leading hitter in the country with a batting average of .467.  Morgan Brown was named SIAC Freshman of the year. …

Albany State Softball takes Eastern Division crown

The Albany State softball team ( 30-6, 14-2 SIAC) heads to Columbia, SC for their last road trip of the regular season, as they will take on the Tigers of Benedict (26-15, 10-5, SIAC) in a three-game set over the weekend.
