The “Easter” colorway of the very popular Nike KD Iv is making its very anticipated return next month.  Official images of the upcoming version have emerged and what we see is a mint green fused upper with a more intense version of the hue standing at the ankle strap. Gary Payton II is out indefinitely with thumb injury

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II has suffered a torn ligament in his left thumb. Charania adds that Payton II will be out for an indefinite amount of time.  Payton II is an active, engaged, and effective defender who is a vital part of the Warriors rotation, with his impact far greater than the 6.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists he averages per game. Over the last month he was averaging 20.9 minutes and 11.5 points per contest.

JuJu Watkins named U.S. Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Year

Wednesday afternoon the U. S Basketball Writers Association named University of Southern California guard JuJu Watkins their Player of the Year. After a phenomenal freshman campaign, the Lady Trojans sophomore sensation averaged 23.9 points 6.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game as she helped lead USC to a 30-3 overall record and a 16-1 mark in the Big 10. Norfolk State forward Kierra Wheeler has entered the transfer portal per reporting from BTN Scouting  This past season Wheeler was second on the team in scoring, 15.8 points per game, and steals, 1.9 per game, while also leading to Lady Spartans in rebounds (8.9 rpg) and blocks (2.4 bpg).

PE Corner: Kevin Durant wears “El Valle” KD 18 PE

Monday night in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kevin Durant laced up the “El Valle” PE iteration of the KD 18.  Deriving its aesthetic from the team’s “El Valley” jerseys, they sport a gradient orange upper reminiscent of a sunset sky overlaid with black at the toe. JuJu Watkins tears right ACL against Mississippi State

Juju Watkins hold her right knee in pain after tearing her ACL( image via Robert Gauthier / Los Angeles Times) USC star guard JuJu Watkins will miss the remainder of the NCAA Tournament with a torn ACL.  The injury occurred with 4:43 left in the first quarter of the Lady Trojans matchup against Mississippi State. Recently we reported on the return of the “Infrared” Air Jordan VI that was reportedly set to take place in 2026.
