The Albany State men’s and women’s basketball teams both came up on the losing side of the equation when they met up with the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee on Monday. From Dr, Earnest Brown at asugoldenrams: The Albany State Golden Rams men and women will be back in action on Saturday, December 4.  Both teams will be looking to avenge early season losses to both, West Florida and Georgia Southwestern, respectively. The Golden Rams men’s team will play West Florida at 2:00 pm at the ASU West Arena.  The Golden Rams lost 76-78 to West Florida in Pensacola, Florida on Sunday, November 21.  It was a game in which the Golden Rams led until the final minutes. The Golden Rams women’s team…

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown at asugoldenrams: The Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes avenged an early season loss by defeating the Albany State Golden Rams tonight 66-63.  The Hurricanes improve to 1-3 overall while the Golden Rams fall to 1-6. The Golden Rams seemed destined for a win as they raced to a 35-23 lead at the half.  The Golden Rams shot 45.2% from the field and a blistering 50% from the 3-point line in the half.  The Golden Rams were just as efficient on the defensive end as they held the Hurricanes…
