Houston Rockets’ all-star guard James Harden is square in Adidas’ crosshairs. The brand has reportedly offered Harden a 13 year deal worth $200 million in a major effort to pry him away from Nike. Man U to rock both the Swoosh and Three Stripes on Upcoming U.S. Tour

  For a portion of Manchester United’s summer tour to the United States, the Red Devils kits will be branded with Nike’s swoosh, and the rest of they will have Adidas’ three stripes. United’s current kit providers, Nike, is in the last three months of a 303 million ( $453 million USD) deal. UC ends relationship with Adidas, now with Under Armour

  Thursday, Under Armour announced they have inked a deal with the University of Cincinnati to be the provider of  the school’s athletic apparel and footwear for its sports teams. According a statement issued by Under Armour it will ” exclusively design and supply the footwear,apparel and equipment for training and game day uniforms for each [of] UC’s 19 men’s and women’s varsity athletic teams.” The Bearcats had been with Adidas prior to entering into this agreement, which goes into effect July 1.

90,000 workers strike at factories that produce Nike and Adidas Footwear

Workers at a Taiwanese factory in Ho Chi Minh City vowed to strike for a sixth day over a Vietnamese government pension-policy change as officials moved to quell the nation’s worst labor unrest since May’s anti-China riots.
